Honduras One of a Kind

This is probably the one the most interesting blends that we received, a combination of 6 different varieties from 2 of Moises and Marysabel's farms. The varieties are grown separately in these 2 farms, San Isidrio and Mogola, and they are usually separately out. Unfortunately there was a lot of rain this year during the Feb - Mar timeframe when the cherries were to be harvested. This resulted in many cherries bursting or dropping from the trees, and some of those that were harvested also ended up with mould due to the high moisture. In the end, the coffees have to be combined together to make up a bag.

Moises put this coffee onto the cupping table when we were at the farm back in April and it really stood out for the flavours and complexity. Only then were we told the details of what the coffee was. There was only 1 bag of this special blend, which we obviously took it immediately, as it was truly One of a Kind!
