Nylon defines sustainability as all-encompassing. We prioritize relationship-driven, transparent sourcing, ethical practices, and high-quality coffees. Working directly with like-minded producers helps ensure our values are upheld. The challenges facing coffee farmers due to climate change and socio-economic issues highlight the importance of sustainable practices from the source.

Since 2022, we’ve embarked on a couple of initiatives to grow ourselves as a coffee company that remains true to our goals and philosophy. Nylon is now a member of 1% for the Planet, where we commit 1% of our total revenue for the year towards environmental causes. We are also a contributing member to the World Coffee Research, a non-profit organisation that focus on collaborative research and development of the global coffee industry to grow, protect, and enhance supplies of quality coffee while improving the livelihood of the families who produce it.

In 2022 , we signed up to the Transparency Pledge to publish the prices and quantity of the green coffees we purchase every year. Our commitment is to help consumers understand the economics behind the cup of coffee you enjoy. Sustainability starts from the producer being able to earn enough to feed the family and have a roof over them. By being transparent in our green coffee costs, we hope to contribute to the sustainability of the value chain and keep the great coffees coming for many, many more generations.
