Honduras San Isidro

We are incredibly excited to welcome back this coffee that we have enjoyed so much over the past 7 years. From the same dynamic duo couple of Moises Herrera and Marysabel Caballero who owns El Puente, which we buy from year after year since 2017. This new coffee comes from a new farm that the couple only acquired, renovated and replanted with new varieties. At a very good altitude of 1800 masl, Moises literally transformed the farm to what we see when we visited last year. Planted with the varieties Batian, SL 28, Java, Geisha and Catuai, the farm was beautiful to say the least. As this is the first harvest of the farm, there was not enough coffees to separate them into the different varieties. As such, Moises decided to combine them into a blend which only came up to 90kg. We were really lucky to cup this coffee on our visit back in March 2024 and it really caught our attention for it's layers, flavours and sweetness. We didn't hesitate to reserve all 90kg of this coffee and keep it for ourselves to share with our customers.

This is a fully washed processed lot and dried on raised beds for up to 14 days, resulting in very even drying and consistency in the flavours. We intently kept this lot to share with our subscribers over the Lunar New Year and to celebrate the launch of our new subscription plans.
