Nylon Coffee Roasters

This new coffee comes from a familiar name that has been recurring at Nylon. Fazenda Ambiental Fortaleza (”FAF”) lies in the Mococa region of Sao Paulo. We have been working with FAF since 2012 and through Marcos, Silvia and Felipe, we have gotten our hands on the lovely coffees from their partner farms, such as Boa Vista and Sitio Canaa. 

FAF invested a significant amount of time and resources to transition from conventional farming to organic farming, taking into consideration the environment and the relationships between people while producing high quality products. Since 2001, it has gone a long way, becoming one the few well-known producers of specialty coffee in Brazil. Today, FAF is a farm, a network of farmers, a center of coffee studies with lab facilities, and an export company that mills and ships coffee worldwide. 

This coffee from FAF displays stewed apple-like acidity with upfront notes of warming chocolate. Its lingering butterscotch sweetness is complemented by a rounded and coating mouthfeel, ending off with a pleasing walnut finish.
