Peru Santa Teresa

Andrés Torres is a dedicated specialty coffee producer from the Lonya Grande area. He owns Santa Teresa, a 7-hectare farm nestled at an altitude of 1,600–1,700 masl, cultivating Geisha. The main crop on the farm is harvested between July and November.

His farm is named after the area of Santa Teresa. Over the years, he has participated in various national competitions, achieving a top 10 position in the 2021 Cup of Excellence. His passion for coffee has also been passed down to his children. According to Andrés, producing specialty coffee has transformed their lives, both socially and economically, and brought their family closer together.

Since he was young, Andrés has dreamed of selling his coffee directly to consumers under his own brand. Today, he proudly sees his name on export bags and he and his children are planning to expand their Geisha production even further.
