Colombia La Primavera

Yina Alejandra Solano Sierra has been growing coffee for over 15 years on her farm, La Primavera, located at 1,800 meters above sea level in the Alto Cabuyal area of Pitalito, Huila. While her husband, Jairo Quiñones, manages the neighboring Nueva Zelandia.

Yina’s dedication to her own finca shines through in her careful cultivation of diverse coffee varieties. Beyond her work as a coffee producer, Yina dreams of a brighter future for her children. She wants them to pursue education and build their own lives while maintaining a connection to their family’s coffee heritage and the land that nurtures it.

We first met her husband Jairo Quiñones many years ago when he won the Best Cup Colombia back in 2018. Since then, we have always tried to buy his coffee year after year, to the best of the availability, and we are thrilled this year to have found this coffee from his wife instead!
