William has dedicated nearly 20 years to the world of coffee, starting on his father’s farm at a young age. This early experience sparked his passion and ultimately led him to purchase his own plot of land.

About nine years ago, he decided to further his knowledge by taking a cupping course at SENA. This course opened his eyes to the many ways he could enhance the quality of his coffee. He quickly put this newfound knowledge to use on his farm.

Not long after, William received an invitation to a local coffee competition. To his surprise, he won! This victory was a turning point for him, revealing the true potential of the coffee he was growing.

Motivated by his success, he started planting different varietals on his farm. He finds great satisfaction in working with these varietals, as they produce high-quality coffee and offer good profitability. Each day, William remains committed to improving his processes, embracing challenges along the way. His dedication to quality has helped him stand out in the coffee community.

This is the first year that we have bought coffees from William and we really enjoyed the soft fruit tones balanced by a coating mouthfeel and texture in the espresso.
